What an absolutely delightful evening. I hosted a new book club's inaugural meeting. We read The Master Butcher's Singing Club by Louise Erdrich. It was a beautifully written, darkly intense novel that sparked some great conversation.
When lots about my life seems unstable (ha), I relish in opportunities I have to meet with smart, interesting, engaging women to talk books.
