laughing out the old...
For NYE this year, a friend and I decided that instead of getting wasted and ugly crying for the end of another year gone, we would laugh our bums off at the Brave New Workshop. Never been? You must go. Hilarious. But only if you can handle raunchy jokes and it's better if you're not politically conservative. The show was titled 'Miracle at 824 Hennepin Ave: Skyway to the Manger Zone.' The highlight, per usual for their holiday show, was their versions of The Twelve Days of Christmas... On the first day of Christmas, my mother said to me 'don't you take that tone with me.' There's also a father version. Lots of laughter. It provided the perfect end of year for us, followed by a great dinner while watching the Hollywood flakes fall. Here's to lots more laughter in 2012.
